These terms and conditions are applicable to the supply of services made by www.victimsofviolence.co.uk to the client.

Your details will only ever be passed to one law firm.
All advisors will be authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority

other information relevant to your claim(s)

HOW DO WE USE THE INFORMATION?

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with the best service possible, and in particular for the following reasons:

Internal record keeping;
We may use the information to improve our products and services;
To provide services to clients looking for legal advice in the UK.

PRICE

Any prices are quoted in British Sterling and are inclusive of VAT (if applicable) (as may be prescribed by law from time to time), unless otherwise specified.

PAYMENT

Payments must be made in British Sterling unless otherwise specified, and by one of the following payment methods:

Cheques made payable to the relevant law firm;
Postal orders made payable to the relevant law firm

PASSING OF RISK

In the event of a referral being lost by a third party, www.victimsofviolence.co.uk bears no risk once it has left their trading premises.

ACCEPTANCE

The client shall consider the services received within a reasonable time after their receipt and shall be deemed to have accepted the same unless within 14 days after their receipt the client shall have notified the www.victimsofviolence.co.uk that the services are rejected. (This does not however affect the client’s statutory rights). If no such action has been taken, www.victimsofviolence.co.uk shall consider the services being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their purposes, and may not accept any reject at a later date.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

If the services are to be rejected in the time limit set in clause 7 above, the client shall comply with the complaints procedure as defined in the clause below. www.victimsofviolence.co.uk will not accept any complaints should the complaint not follow the aforementioned complaint procedure.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation of a request for services is only accepted if the client complies with the following cancellation procedure and before the referral has been despatched. If the procedure is not respected, the referral will be considered valid.

PRIVACY POLICY

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please contact us at enquiries@victimsofviolence.co.uk.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible at enquiries@victimsofviolence.co.uk. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

Any information passed through by www.victimsofviolence.co.uk is via a secure connection on the internet using Secure Socket Layer technology at 128bit encryption (where browsers will allow). If a client wishes for their information to be removed from our database, this should be requested in writing to enquiries@victimsofviolence.co.uk.

Please note, the only information stored is a client’s, name, e-mail address and telephone number and any other contact details provided. These may be used for marketing purposes by www.victimsofviolence.co.uk only. Clients will not be sent ‘spam’ e-mail. Should any client not want their details used for marketing purposes, please request to be removed at enquiries@victimsofviolence.co.uk after receiving unwanted mail.

LICENCE AGREEMENT

The client shall respect all licence agreements delivered by the copyright owners. www.victimsofviolence.co.uk cannot be held responsible or liable for any misuses conducted by the client or any third party. All trademarks shown on www.victimsofviolence.co.uk belong to their registered owners and must not be copied without prior permission.

LAW

These terms and conditions are governed and shall be interpreted in accordance with English Law. Any person participating in fraud will be prosecuted with no exception.
